The U.A.E. – European Lawyers’ Union expresses its condolences for the death of the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, a man of exceptional moral standing, who throughout his professional and political activity was able to promote good will and unify people.
As President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli defended the highest values of the European Union, reflecting its founding principles and spirit. His untimely death constitutes a great loss to the European Union and to the European Project.
We extend our deepest sympathies to President Sassoli’s family and closest colleagues.
